Conferences & Workshops
The IEEE Robotics & Automation technical conferences and workshops offer a unique opportunity to participate in the advancement of the industry’s research base, through interaction with other robotics and automation professionals and engage in expert panel discussions tutorial sessions, short courses, supplier exhibits and social events with the leaders and innovators of the industry.
Proceedings of all RAS sponsored conferences and many co-sponsored conferences are available on IEEE Xplore. Members of universities and other institutions which subscribe to the IEEE Electronic Library (IEL) may be able to download articles through their library website. Others may visit IEEE Xplore, browse the tables of contents of all journals, magazines and conference proceedings, and download individual articles for a nominal charge.
The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society organizes or co-organizes about

The three major RAS conferences are
- ICRA — IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation
- CASE — IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering
- IROS — IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems
