2017: Changes for Technically Co-sponsored Conferences

A fee of US$500 will be charged to all technically co-sponsored conferences that apply for sponsorship after 1 June 2017:

  • If the conference proceedings of technically co-sponsored conferences are published in IEEE Xplore, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society will cover the entire publication fee for the conference (US$15 per paper). Alternately, conference organizers are free to publish conference proceedings elsewhere.
  • With the goal of covering RAS's expenses to support conferences (advertising, marketing, support for conference organizers, Conference Organizer Workshops, etc.), all TECHNICALLY CO-SPONSORED CONFERENCES will be charged USD$500 after the conference has concluded. If the conference is not able to pay the fee, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society will not technically co-sponsor the next edition of the conference.
